About the Host...
In the military they called me Sleep but my name is Jonathan. I am a former Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician (EOD) for the United States Air Force. I was diagnosed with TBI/PTSD about 8 years ago but had no idea what that meant. I have been exploring ways to improve my quality of life ever since. I really enjoy learning more about how the mind works and have always wanted to share what I learned with my community. I figured that a podcast would be a nice platform for that. I have sadly seen more of my brothers and sisters in the EOD community kill themselves than have died in the war from IEDs. My goal is to hopefully normalize post traumatic stress disorder so that it’s not uncomfortable to discuss this topic or seek help. Hopefully by doing so it can lower the suicide rate and make a positive impact in a community that has meant so much to me.
